Another pastime of mine......

Turning stone off cuts into useful objects...well this is

Oooh, I like that! Have just the right spot for one ... can you just do one for me and pop over with it, please! :rolleyes: :D

 

The Sundial took about a day to complete, I 'liberated' the stone one Friday and it was in position by the next day.
These however were damn hard stones and despite the simplicity took just as long..

The one at the back might look familiar to someone

 

Well i think its just brilliant it would look nice in my garden.. :D Their are some really clever people on gc with all their amazing skills..

Love the sundial, Pal - particularly the symbols you've carved into it. And yes - definitely remember the alpine trough! :D

 

paladin..Thanks will have to wait till i move in 2008 before i have anything else as we just want to move as light as possible..i will be throwing all my plant pots away etc..i have allready started to get rid of some things.But you have done a lovely job..
