As our house is named Casadinho, I was delighted to find this recipe ....

    Casadinhos de Chocolate
    Little Houses of Chocolate

    100g Ground Almonds
    125g Sugar
    3 tblsp Chocolate Powder
    2 tblsp Cornflour
    2 Egg Whites
    Lemon Marmalade

    Pre-heat oven to 375oC.

Mix together the almonds, sugar, chocolate powder and cornflour.

Beat the egg whites and gradually and gently blend into the dry ingredients.

Mould little balls of the mixture, place on greaseproof paper and flatten with the back of a spoon.

    Bake for 12 minutes.

When they have cooled slightly, sandwich two together with the lemon marmalade.

PS I have just made another batch of these. I sued large eggs and the mixture was a little bit runny so perphaps medium should be used. I also cooked them for 15 minutes. It made 12, so 6 little houses.

Hi, Whiley, how are you doing?

I recently found another recipe, appears to be a sort of donut thing, and translated it's called Children of the Pumpkin Girl!!

It's not a kiddies recipe ... the donuts are called Children of the Pumpkin Girl! I'll get it translated and up sometime. Can you get pumpkin there most of the time? It's sold in segments here virtually year around.
