Castle Howard garden centre N yorks

Had some spare time yesterday so off to the Castle Howard garden Centre.
As far as centres go this is a good one. It has as many garden bits and bobs as Ive seen anywhere.
But, I reckon if you are in this area and take a day to visit the castle and grounds no way will you have time to visit the garden centre

I have been there many years ago Robert - before I became interested in gardening. It looks a big place. I like those sorts of places. Because the house itself is upmarket, they often feel they should present the garden centre as up market too, so it is more likely to have some unusual things.

 

I do believe you are correct in your assumption Peter.
Itis certainly a very clean and tidy place.
We have plans to visit the house and grounds very shortly.
Looking forward to that.
