    Hi All

Neighbour's cats have been coming into our garden via fence, and damaging the plants. Also large part of garden is smelling very strong cat pees.

Tried vinegar spraying all along the fence and path, and also cat / dog deterrent powders as well, but the smells disappear in a day or two, so having to spray every evening, and I found it is not effective as expected, and not permanent solution really. I am also worried too much vinegar / powder chemicals accumulates in the soils can do other damages to plants as well.

I would appreciate any effective and permanent cat deterrents ideas and / or devices.

    Thanks & regards

Thank you for your links JWK and shiny. Very helpful.

I have opted to go with the idea of spraying holy tree leaves on the parts of the ground where the cats land from the fence. This seems to be working.

This morning I saw the cat was on the fence trying to come to our garden, but then he saw the holy tree leaves all over the ground. He was hesitant for a few minutes, and then just disappeared to neighbours garden. Fantastic :)

      Thank you & kind regards.
