Cat with green eyes

Hi All

One of the girls in work said she had seen a cat looked like a Persian with amazing green eyes , big white fluffy thing she was asking is it a Persian , none of us knew I thought a Turkish Van ?? but no one knew what that looked like either as you can see bit quiet in work or should I say all the bosses at a meeting

There's a white Norwegian Forest Cat with green eyes Spruce. This breed has a more pointy face than the flatter faced Persian look. There's also a cat breed called the Chinchilla which has green eyes although I'm not sure if they can be called a striking green colour and these cats do look like persians.

Here's a Chinchilla...not sure of his name!

 

I used to have a Chinchilla Ragdoll mix cat (maybe the breeder was trying to create her own breed? Or the stud had a nightime wander )

Gorgeous little guy he was but sadly died young.

Ragdolls have blue eyes and the Chinchilla have green but this is how my little guy turned out (although, to be fair, his eyes were not quite that bright in natural light - think the flash had something to do with the intensity) ...

 

just had a look on google you are right its a chinchilla , you can get pure or half and half with a Persian they have green , blue or amber eyes, all I need tomorrow is for the bosses to have another meeting , that forest cat looks huge

Awww he was a gorgeous cat Mum....sorry he died young.

 

It is all nice until you have to comb his fur every day and clean the discharge from his eyes...
