Caterpillars

    This year i seem to have had my fair share of the little blighters,i know perhaps i should of netted the sprouts etc,but is there something i should of sprayed to keep them at bay? [​IMG]

    I used bug clear, that seemed to work

    I do net them, but this year my local garden centre had sold out of the small stuff so had to get pea netting (has a bigger hole), of course the butterflies had a field day. I am as organic as I can get, but I used bug clear this year only on brassicas. I try to rely on natural predators, but there were too many caterpillers too contend with.

    Worst blighters were cabbage white and sawfly. God help us next year.
