Caterpillars

Hello chums

As in previous years, my Geraniums (Pelargoniums) have been badly affected by these pests. As they are devilishly hard to spot, can anyone suggest an effective way of getting rid?

Derris, if you can still get hold of some Freddy. Never had any great prob with them on ours.

As you hinted at, it seems Derris is hard to get hold of. I too never had any problems with pests on Geraniums, indeed they seemed bullet-proof. It's since we moved to our current home that they've caused havoc

 

My pelargoniums too have ravaged. Looks a right mess!
I'm wondering if these little blighters are at my dahlias too? I spotted quite a big hairy caterpillar last night wandering around aimlessly on concrete.
