Hi! I don't know if this has already been discussed before but I was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas how to deter cats from the garden especially the veg patch.
Any advice would be much appreciated thanks.

    Hello,
Most cats seem to dislike the smell of grated citrus fruit peel.It is worth a try and worked for me. I have not had good results with anything I have purchased.
    Best wishes,
    Gerald.

Yes, there is a bit of discussuion starting Jan 05 also under the heading of 'cats'.

One suggestion was a stuff called 'Silent Roar' (lion's poo!) which a friend of mine swears by. ;)

Thanks for the tip Gerald will give it a shot, has to smell better than lion poo at any rate would'nt fancy having to collect it either. Do appreciate both suggestions though. Unless they deliver I am not close enough to collect from a zoo.

    Many thanks Mo

I bought a cat repeller for about £30 (Argos, b&q...)It has a sensor and when activated by movement emits a high pich noise cats dislike. It's really working for me because cats have stopped using my back garden as a toilet (they use the front instead!!...) but I think it works because my garden is quite small (about 15m long)
