How can I keep cats out of my garden they are digging up my new lawn and all my new flower beds and I'm fed up of picking up cat crap when I don't have one. So is there anything to put down to keep them out. Otherwise I will have to sit up all night with a .22 air rifle. Haha

As a cat owner im happy to my cats to be squirted with water to deter them. Mine are trained that way not to do stuff

As long as its in the back garden and not in front garden so they dont run into the road.

I think you can sprinklers with sensors on for this purpose so you dont have to be watching all the time

Kris, unfortunately discussion on the subject of cats is not allowed as it creates friction between those that own them and others that don't.

Not sure that this is anti cat though.
I have two cats and it is only since Sage has got elderly (she's 21) that I've had to clear crap up (hers). My advice is that the only sure way is to get a cat of your own - cats are territorial and will not tolerate other cats on their patch (well, none of the cats I've ever had would) and they will not crap on their own patch either.

I love cats but not when I mess up my garden. And I was going to get a cat but my girlfriend is due to give birth within days so we got enough on our plate without a cat.
