Evening, My cauli s are doing great in the small poly tunnel. But should I sort of gather the leaves up and put a band round them to protect the heads, or should I just leave them??. What the best results?, I dont want them to go all 'orrible !!

I grew a polly in my caulitunnel a couple of years ago...no difference to those outside. To protect the heads, or curds as is their correct name..traditional way is to partly snap/bend a leaf to cover the curd as protection from the sun.

Thanxs for that Steve, We have grown cauli/ cabbage outside and all we was ever left with was 'Stalks' !!- Dam pigeons and no nets.
Hoping to have better luck in the old tunnel
