One of my overwintered cauliflowers always looked a bit slower growing than the rest of the crop, on inspection yesterday I found there was a big cavity in the stem and the inside a brown colour, anyone got any idea what this could be,? The rest of the crop are growing away fine!

One possibility is cabbage stem flea beetle. They normally attack between August and October.
