    Hi All,
My cauliflowers this year have been coming on great until today , because when I came home from work I noticed A good number of them are starting to bolt. They all had nice tight heads forming yet some of them are going to seed.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers Colin

Thats what they do unfortunately in these weather conditions, theres not a lot you can do now except cut off the flowers and maybe eat the leaves apart from that they will have had it. Eat the others whilst they are small.

Its best to sow a few caulis 3 weeks apart rather than all in one go as they all come at once. The new F1 varaities are worse, because they all ripen at the same time.

Hi Lucky. As I understand it, from seedling to cropping, ANY check to their growth can have this effect.
    Cheers...freddy.

That's the problem with Caulis ... they look perfect and you wait for them to get "just that little bit bigger" and then ... Wham! ... they "blow" :(
