The chillis are coming along fine, but the leaves are all droopy. I took one out of its pot and disected the soil. The roots look fine and no creepy crawlies.

Our piri-piri has virtually no leaves now but lots of chillies. I just assume as they are basically annuals, it's the end of their time. We're never had one over-winter here although our friend has.

my chilis only look like that when I have let them dry out, which happens quickly when it's sunny. I water them as often as the tomatoes. They normally perk up quite quickly if I give them a good soak in a bucket. The leaves are a good colour so I don't think it's lack of food, but you could give some tomato food if you havne't done.
