Change forum Name

At the moment i have two different names because i had to register again some time ago when there was a few problems with the site.

One is Jetplane and the other is Golfer however i can log on with Jetplane because i know my password but the other one being Golfer i am unable to log on because i forgot my password i have requested twice now from the administrator to e-mail me my password for Golfer because i know my password for Jetplane .

Is there anyway i can change the name Jetplane to Golfer in the forum myself does anyone know.

I doubt that you can change the name, as that would create a duplicate, and is probably regarded as confusing to the members, so probably not a "self-service" option.

Could it be that the email address, used to register Golfer, has since changed - and the "forgotten password" Emails are being sent to your old email address, possibly fruitlessly?

You do have a different e mail ad for golfer than the one you have for jetplane.

Cant see your password anywhere though.

Peresumably it would not be right to send the log in details of golfer to the email of jetplane.

Other people also had trouble however Nathan reset my password for golfer and i did not know he was going to do that hence i registred again with jetplane i dont understand i have sent two e-mails to the site and i guess Nathan sorts things out i have requested my password for golfer it is fine for this password to be sent to either of my e-mail address but i would prefer it sent to

 

You may want to edit your previous message and remove your Email address. Unsavoury folk will harvest it from here, and sell it to Spam lists.

You ought to be able to use the Lost Password page

to put in your Golfer / ntlworld email address and get a notification of password. If that doesn't / hasn't worked I suspect that, for whatever reason, that account has been set to inactive.

But the Admin folk ought to sort it out for you, eh?
