:gnthb: Yesterday, visited Charlecote Manor which dates back to Tudor times. Beautiful house and gardens, good tea-shop. National Trust. Across the road, off the car-park ( before you get to the ticket office!) is the bonus! Fantastic garden centre, well laid-out and reasonable prices for a wide range of plants - some slightly unusual varieties and colours of common shrubs, herbaceous perennials and annuals. Very good quality plants - obviously well looked-after. A sea of colour from the entrance lures you in. I couldn't resist the miniature dahlias and a lovely bushy salvia. Worth a visit just for the G.C.!
