Cheapish chicken house

    For anyone considering buying chickens we bought one of these to adapt for the chucks. It seems quite strong and looks quite pretty.

      Not a bad price just watch the roof it will be a haven for red mite if its felted might be worth changing it for onduline. The stuff from wickes is the same stuff as onduline, just a different name, B&Q call it 'coroline' roofing. That's about the cheapest you'll find it, I buy mine from wickes

        That's the first thing I did with the felt covered t&g boarded roof on our bought hen house - completey replaced it with that corrugated stuff from Wickes.

          We'd read that the felt might be an issue and cause mites. Thanks for the top tips.
