Hi everyone - on reading through this forum, I notice that there are several threads all on the same subject, potatoes, rhubarb, etc.

So can I suggest that you check previous posts before you start a new topic as the advice you are looking for may already be here?!!

    Hi MMD,

Thanks for the advice. As a new member - joined today, I did try using search function b4 posting question.

Your use of "?!!" suggests frustration. My apologies.

Do you know answer to my question?

    Regards

Richard I did not think your question had been asked before. I have just done a search on that topic and it is not repetition as far as I can tell. If the question is about spuds that is. I think its blight and It would be OK to eat the potatoes. Some say cut off the foliage and dig up the spuds. If the spores are down to the tubers then they will not store.

Yeah, that's fine. I just searched "Brugmansia" and the only reply I got was one from KD. For someone who is new to the site, our "search" facility isn't "user friendly". On most sites (science, or anything else) you just tap in the subject and you get a list of options. You don't have to select categories. I think you're being a little unfair to RichT.

BM, we hope to. We usually have it about May. I'll post it on here when we know. We haven't yet picked a local charity either.

Last year we didn't open our garden because we have had some building work done in the garden. We lost some of our flower beds so have had to spend a lot of time sorting out what to do with the plants and making new beds. We had to move nearly 5,000 snowdrops  and don't know how many of them have survived. They should have started coming up by the time we return from New Zealand.

You'd be very welcome. We (read Mrs shiney as she does all the work)haven't done a lot of preparation for the plant sale this year because of all the building work. If we have enough for a sale I shall let you know and you would be welcome to come over before the open day.
