Following on from my earlier thread "Last Frost Date? / When Can I Put My Plants Out?" about calculating when the last frost has been, historically, in your area my thoughts have now turned to checking if there will be a frost each night (so I can earth up the spuds or cover anything frost sensitive that is already outside)

I've been using MetCheck and checking their frost forecast each evening

You need to put your postcode in (which the site will remember on subsequent visits) and then you can use their specific page:

    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/frostrisk.asp

which gives a nice percentage prediction for the next two nights; but as a lover of even-more-data :), I stumbled across this other page on their site:

    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/trendmaker.asp?VARS=SOILT&VARS=TEMP2M&VARS=TMPSFC

you can choose which variables you track, this link will just show the ones I chose.

    What do you use?
