Yes 3 years ago I streaked through the Chelsea Flower Show and won a Gold for best dried arrangement.

Went to Chelsea yesterday....came back broke and exhausted as usual!!
Bought some Italian herb and veg seeds, including purple beans!! Apparently they turn green when you cook them, though!
Ordered pelargoniums and roses, and bought some lily bulbs to take home with me, also packets of seeds from Jekka's Herb Farm - including sorrel, which I haven't grown for years, but you can make some delicious soup from it.
Loved the George Harrison show garden!!!

 

Glad you enjoyed it Leonora, think what you might have come away with on the last day!! it is manic.
I did two exhibits there in'69 and '87 with houseplant nurseries. After standing in the main marquee for three days and thousands of people walking through the ground dried up and I swallowed so much dust I couldn't speak properly for days (the relief of some). :D
