Chilli advice

      Holy crap that's a lot of info on germinating chilli seeds! Personally I've never had cause not to just dump them near the surface of the compost and never had any troubles :)

        That's a lot of good info but I've found it easy to germinate seeds in a seed sprouter - and he doesn't mention anything about overwintering plants. In the past I've had plants producing chillies for five years.

        It's because he's a commercial grower, and like most the plants (apart from his personal collection) get discarded after the first season.

        I've just had to throw out one of my five year old plants as it didn't survive the lack of care whilst we were away for a month this winter. That just leaves us with one five year old and two seedlings that survived.

        James, I soon hope to start sowing the seeds you sent me. :blue thumb:

        Awesome i look forward to seeing the outcome as soon as i get a laptop and camera working again i will get some pics up f the grow so far this year :D
