We are going tomorrow, last year was really fun and hot hot hot! There's everything you ever wanted to know about chillis, chilli tastings, chilli beer/chocolate/ice cream/etc/etc - plants for sale and a lovely garden to view as well. I'ts bound to be nice weather :gnthb:

    John, enjoy yourselves :gnthb:.

We shall be going to the Bennington Lordship Chilli Festival at the end of the month. It is always good but not as large as West Dean. :)

Poo. We're going down to Chichester tomorrow to do DIY stuff for in-laws. Won't have the time for this, again :(

Have a great time John - it's supposed to be a brilliant day out.

Watch out for me then Aaron, I'll be wearing a red, black and white striped T shirt pushing a buggy with my grandaughter who's got a tiny sombrero, maybe lurking around the beer tent :thumb:

I can really recommend this event. Apart from getting stung by a wasp and turning purple after sampling the hottest sauce on the Scorchio stand we had a lovely time there today. There was a company selling grow pots with automatic watering resevoirs, ideal for keeping plants watered whilst on holiday - I might invest in a set. Their tomatoes growing in their pots had stems as thick as my arm, I've never seen anything like it.

We didn't make it - too busy clearing out an old shed at in laws, that hadn't been looked at for 15 years. The bindweed had had a whale of a time in there.

Sounds like a great day out - I'll keep an eye out for it next year.
