My chilli plants are going black where the leaves and flowers/fruit are emerging. Like little black bands. I have them in the conservatory. I have not over watered except once when we had that hot spell a few weeks ago when I had them outside and they got caught in a deluge. I note this morning they are covered in greenfly too, EEEK. Anyone know what is causing the black bits?

The black banding might just be normal Granny, depends on the variety but some of mine have black coloured areas the same as you describe.

If the flowers are dying or the black actually looks like mould then I would start worrying.

It's quite normal Rhyleysgranny, chillies usually make black bits like that and on the stems. Once the green chillies start to turn red the first thing you might notice is black markings on the chillies. Don't worry about them, they turn red.
