    Hi All

Would somebody please help diagnose the problem with one of my Chillie plants has black spots on the leaves the plant next to it has no spots at all, I have a continual problem with flea beetle in the outside ground that Tumble Bug normally sorts out and I did notice a spider web on these Chillies and some whitefly so I have sprayed with Tumble Bug and both have gone now. I am finding it hard to understand why only one plant is affected as they stand together on the windowsill in my office.

Oh by the way the damage to the stem in from a slug last year, I have dealt with him as well.

    Thanks

I dont know exactly what the spots are David, but they dont look too sinister to me.
They may just be a bit of scorch from the spraying

Dave, I think you`ve got a little bit of scorch damage.

Pete, David. I think you are both right. I had this on my jalapenos but it made no difference to fruiting.

    Thanks all of you

It may make sense that when I tumble bugged them I put them outside and maybe the sun got to one of them. Should I start to feed these yet??

    Thanks again

Same here, my Jalapenos had black spots last summer but did not affect the plant at all, agree, possibly slight scorch. [IMG]

Dave, if you are using Tumblebug, you need to check that`s suitable for edible plants. I thought it had been banned.

    Hi David

It probably has been banned I found it at the back of the shed.
I sprayed a load of yellow spiders the other day worked a treat maybe that is why it is banned because it works and we can't have that can we.

These spiders were all in a group, they must have been discussing how nice life was without Tumble Bug then bam I let them have it!!!

I have never seen spiders disperse so quickly!!!

My daughter is convinced they were money spiders and thats it now my chances of being rich ruined.

Seriously I will only use it early in the season (I hate waste) then dump the rest.

    Thanks for the advice

    Dave

Dave, I would use it, but I would check it`s suitable for use on edible plants. I`m not sure it is. It`ll say on the back. Don`t dump it. you can`t get anymore.:D :thumb:

    Hi David

I have looked and the label is unreadable (that is how old it is) there is not that much in there so it will probably be used up pretty quickly.

    Thanks for the advice
