chiltern seeds

Yesterday I received an email from the above saying If I should get an email from them stating I've won a hamper I should delete it.
Presumably someone is running a scam and purporting to be Chiltern Seeds.

Tonight I get an e mail entitled Chiltern Seeds delivery confirmation and an order No.

Thing is I haven't ordered anything from them.
I've not opened the email.

Just wondering if anyone else is getting this kind of thing???

Thanks for the heads up Pete. When it comes down to it, if you didn`t contact the seed company in the first place, then it is likely to be a scam.Mark the message as SPAM and delete it.

I have had emails from one of my friends which looked a bit fishy so I deleted it . I think they must get your email address book and send clone emails out - obviously with something nasty attached.

 

I received this from Chiltern Seeds yesterday
"If you have received an email purporting to be from Chiltern Seeds telling you that you have won a hamper, please IGNORE THIS AND DELETE THE EMAIL IMMEDIATELY.

This is a spam email and it is NOT from Chiltern Seeds.

But just to let you know there's yet another Paypal scam going about too,

"Dear ******
Thank you for using PayPal.

This email confirms that you asked us to transfer £120.00 GBP from your PayPal account to Derek J Lyons, and we're processing it now. It usually takes up to 24 hours for transfers like this to go through."

Just don't click any links in it.

I got an offer of a hamper from "Chiltern Seeds" yesterday evening. So this is still ongoing. There is a message on the home page of Chiltern Seeds, Veg Seeds | Flower Seeds | Plant Seeds | Hanging Baskets | Vegetable Seeds | Buy Flowering Plants from Chiltern Seeds, regarding a cyber attack and advising account holders to change password.

 

I've received an E mail today from them entitled "Warning E mail", I've not opened it.
I'n fact I'm pretty unlikely to open any e mails from them at the moment.
Bit unsure if they are from them or not.

 

I am always getting promotions via email from Chilterns.
Goes straight to spam.
