    Please could you tell me the difference between chionodoxa luciliae and chionodoxa forbesil? I'm sure the name itself would give me the answer. Any time I look them up they always share the same description.

    I am thinking of planting them in and around my lithodora. Would that work timing wise? Would the chionodoxa flowers fade before the lithodora blooms?

    If that wouldn't work , I'm sure there are other places I could put them.

    All thoughts and suggestions appreciated as always.

    Size mainly. C.luciliae is smaller than forbesii. By the way they are now classed as Scilla, but so what?
    Ours flower from the end of February onwards for about a month. There is one called C.l. Valentines Day which is supposed to flower on that date, never has for us, but it is very early.

      @Jack Sparrow
      Chionodoxa luciliae and Chionodoxa forbesil information here Pacific Bulb Society | Chionodoxa They are very similar and Chiondoxa forbesil has been sold as lucillae. To cap it all the botanists have now decided they are all Scilla.
