Chives

    Whats been eating the ends of my chive plants? I've only had a handful flower as something as been loping the ends off.

    Without any other information it`s impossible to tell. I would hazard a guess at Keel slugs though.:dbgrtmb:

    Did'nt realize anything WOULD eat the ends, first time I've grown them so was a little suprised/disappointed that I didnt get more flowers :(

    Usually they are used without the flowers anyway.:dbgrtmb:

    Never had anything but my Sister attacking mine.

    You'll have lots more chives next year. I bought some 3 or 4 years ago, been dividing them up every year, must have sold about 30 pots of them.

    i had chives i planted up last year come through. which have flowered. the only thing to behead them is me. lol then i chop em up and sprinkle around what ever i can
    (plants). a tip someone gave me. but the chives them selves. mmm lovely in mash potato

    Shame as the flowers are really pretty though.

    Next year you'll have enough to grow some just for the flowers Herb:dbgrtmb:

    Some of mine self seeded all over the veg plot last year too, will be potting those up for sale.
