Merry Christmas / Feliz Natal one and all.

Today is t'other half's and my 52nd Christmas Anniversary, having met on Christmas Day 1967.

We have spent the morning lazing in bed having tea, coffee, hot chocolate ...
... and listening to some of our favourite Christmas music by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

... Carol of the Bells ...
    Yahoo fait désormais partie d’Oath

    ... Wizards in Winter ...

    Yahoo fait désormais partie d’Oath

.... and if you have 46 minutes, please watch The Ghost of Christmas Eve ...

Have a wonderful day everyone. xx

    :merry christmas:

We first met at the age of seventeen, in 1957. We worked for the same firm but in different departments. It was our first job on leaving school. We started going out together at nineteen, then moved into a flat together in Soho at twenty in 1960 and got married in 1961. So this is our 59th Christmas together. Our three kids are all doing their own thing today, so it's just we two.

Worth marking with this old Isley Brothers love song I played and recorded this morning.

It's amazing the amount of illumination the two sets of lights on the staircase and the one around the mirror can produce from three AAA batteries for each set.

If you're asking whether you can tip the contents onto the compost, then the answer is yes. :blue thumb:

I've had this outfit since 1550 but wore it to a Christmas party in 1963

I think you'll find that the type of booze with cream in can go off and that's why they put a use by date on it (I think they still do that). :noidea:

I just sampled some of my ''Tesco finest Irish cream liqueur'' left over from 2014 ...lovely :dbgrtmb:

 ... don`t think there will be any left for 2019. I don`t always believe the 'use by' date, and cannot find one on this bottle. It tastes great.
