Chrysanthemums that are on sale in January in supermarkets

    Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows of the cultivation details for Chrysanthemums that are on sale in January and in flower. Are these varieties tender and forced, or are they semi hardy, and after flowering can be left in a pot outside. I saw a lovely deep maroon one in M & S, and I wanted to buy, but don't want them to just last one year.
