    As an experiment I thought I'd leave this patch of Cineraria in the ground this winter just to see how it copes. So far it's had a few heavy duty frosts to contend with but is still looking pretty good.

    Sheal mine is in a pot and took -14c , they are fully frost hardy .....actually they are in my front garden , I`ve never ever watering them ider

    :smile: This is one of my must have plants every year,it's hardy it can be cut back it adds a splash of character to hanging baskets,tubs ,borders,dry areas wet areas and you get hundreds of plants from one packet of seed.
    Probably one of the best value plants around.

      Roders, this is the the first year I've grown it and I was very impressed. The colour breaks up all the greens in a bed to add contrast. :)

        We (when I worked for the Parks Dept) used to leave them in for the winter to contrst and give height to the winter bedding Pansies and Polyanthus displays.
