Cinnamon Shortbread

My Mum's Recipe ( I add cinnamon to it )

8oz marg or butter
1 cup of cornflour
1 cup of icing sugar
2 cups of Plain Flour

2tsp cinnamon opitional

Cream marg and sugar together,add cornflour ,flour cinnamon
Mix together roll our and cut into rounds.

Oven temp 25 mins 300 F

Sieve icing sugar on top when they come out of the oven.

Enjoy.

 

I love home made shortbread, I like the sound of adding cinnamon, will give it a try.

 

Dalbuie its rather morish and the pastry with the orange for xmas pies just melts in the mouth.

Already have had to make more ,cinnamon mixed with icing sugar sprinkled on top mmmmmmmmmmm sssssssssssssss good.
