Classy/Clever Marketing

I really do not like commercials and will usually leave the room when they come on. However, there are some classy and clever ones at the moment which I stay to watch .... this is one of my favourites at the moment ....

 

We all fall for a uniform.......I know, I wore one for years:gnthb:

Virgin are very clever. And talk about killer heels!!

 

I was thinking of putting that one on myself , the Virgin one, was trying to workout which category to put it in.
Its great visually and the music fits just right.

Any one know what the music is called?

 

Not sure of the music Pete, has a Frankie Goes To Hollywood sound but there is a vioce box used towards the end, someone with knowledge from that era will know.
I haven't seen that ad and I certainly wouldn't have heard it cos I always mute the ads.:D

 

Its worth watching strongy, I think it is Relax, but it proves it should have been an instrumental.:D

 

An excellent ad - one of my all time favourite songs, and those heels!!!! Thats what I zoomed in on straight away - I used to have a pair like that - bright red patent leather with 6" heels. And I used to run down the road in them........ I was an eighties Babe.....

 

Do you remember people walking about in oversize white t-shirts with RELAX in large letters on the front.[/SIZE][/FONT]

I still have a black patent cutout pair of heels and a black with red 'bits' just about that high .... My red ones were kitten heels but I still have my red cutout boots ..... :hehe: Doesn't it make you gals just want to :yho::yho::yho:

I love it when we talk about ads but admit that most of the time I just flick over, there's just far too many of them.

My husbands favorite at the moment is this one. He didn't realise it was a take on the famous Morecombe & Wise act. They've done this very well I think.

I don't know who the woman is in that ad, but have you noticed that Davina Macall(sp?) no longer says 'mum' in her hair colouring ads any more?
