Yesterday I nearly burned the garage down. Put some steaks on the bbq and came inside to sort the other bits and a few mins later started smelling burnt plastic. Rushed out to find flames licking from the side and back. I didn't panic, ( yay me!! ) I shut the gas off, shouted for hubby to get down here NOW ( loads of swearing ), and turned on the hose. The fire was put out very quickly. It was the drippings which caught fire and a couple more mins it would have been the garage. I guess the bbq will be getting cleaned MUCH more often now.......

Never mind the garage - glad you're ok, Catztail! How are you (apart from a bit singed)? Haven't seen you around much recently!

Yep, a-ok and only slightly sooty, LOL!! I've just been super busy lately working some overtime and at my volunteer job ( second link in my signature.) Plus all the bits I'm doing in the garden and everyday chores of course. So by the time I get a chance to browse on here I'm too knackered to say much. I AM lurking in the shadows though..........
