    Hi everyone

I have a wisteria at the front of my house and I would like to under plant with a clematis, preferably an evergreen and perhaps cream or deep blue in colour. Ideally, I would like to keep the clematis in a pot. Does anyone have ideas about a clematis that I could choose?

    Thanks in advance
    Monica

I am not much of a Clematis expert, but Cl armandii is one of my faves.

I have always struggled to get a true blue clematis as i alway think they look more purple. However the ones i thought were the most blue are the clematis lady northcliffe and the Clematis Beauty of Worchester, although can still look more purple in colour at times. I also love the clematic armandii which has a white flower.
