    Hi Axie Yes they are allowed and many people take their dogs there,miles of open spaces,you could walk for hours:)

    We couldn't wait until the weekend, so decided to take a visit today. Lovely views from the viewpoint in your second pic, trouble was it was raining but we will definately mark it as somewhere to explore on a better day.
    I can't believe we have never been there...it only took 15 minutes to get there, the car park was deserted (maybe because of the rain!)
