The end of the shed has been trellised to take a climber. I'm not ready to plant anything yet but I am keen to start something off as soon as possible.

The common consensus is that a honeysuckle is what is required. The range have starter pots for £2.99. Is there any sense in buying one of these and re-pot as it grows until I am ready to plant it out? The varieties they have are Dropmore Scarlet, Henryi and periclymerium.

The base on the plant will be at the bottom right hand corner (somewhere behind where the elephant is now). The distance across from there to to the top left corner is approx 3m.

The other addition to this design will be a clock somewhere above and between the hanging baskets. The side of the shed will be "decorated" once I decide what to do with that piece of land.

    G.

If you are thinking of a Honeysuckle, why not have one that produces nice fruits to eat too.?
After trying the berries at my friends place I have just purchased a Honeyberry.. Lonicera caerulea kamtschatica Unlike the flowering variety it is not really a climber, but will grow, as a small bush that needs some support and mature bushes will only reach some 6 feet in height. It would fill the central area of your shed with clock above, baskets either side with long trailing plants would look a picture to me.. ;)
