Climber help please.

    :scratch:Hi I am hoping for some help I have seen climbers on houses that looks a little like an ivy but has much larger leaves does anyone know what it is called and also if it is evergreen?

    Hi Wecome to the Forum

    Can you give us more clues , as if it had leaves through the winter it would be evergreen it sound like ivy so many varieties small leaf to huge diffrent shapes and colours

    Hello Whippetstorm
    The climber you may be thinking of is Virginia Creeper ( Parthenocissus quinquefolia). A very common and absolutely stunning climber . Very easy to grow , it uses little suckers to stick to the wall . It is deciduous so loses its leaves in autumn , but it gives one hell of a show as the leaves turn to scarlet .:dbgrtmb:
