I have just remembered i was planning to do a social media post each month about a climber that looks particular good at that time of year with indo on it. Slightly panicking now that i haven't planned it and realised RHS only shows by season so i dont have enough knowledge to say which climber will be in flower or will look its best during each month.

I was wondring if you guys can help.

Is there a climber that looks really good in January or flowers in january? To be honest i would also like to know as my garden is lacking some what right now.

All help is hugely appreciated :-) thank you

There are a few Clematis that are winter blooming. The most common is C.cirrhosa.
@Ian Taylor will be able to help you more with Clematis.

Ah brilliant that is really helpful @Ian Taylor. Would you say they all flower until march or perhaps also flower in december so that then i can pick on for january, one for feb and use the other for another month.

Then thats a quarter of the year done lol

C 'Apple Blossom' should flower, March, April, May, mines flowering so early because of the mild winter.
C napaulensis, flowers from November through to March, it is a species from Nepal.
C clarkeana 'Winter Beauty', flowers from December through to Febuary, it is a species from South West China.

Hope this helps if you need any more info just ask only to happy to help

          Thank you so much :-)

So im thinking if i do C clarkeana 'winter beauty' for December

          Then c napaulensis in January

Then this one for february https://www.rhs.org.uk/plantselector/plant?plantid=458

Then the apple blossom for march

Then i also found this one for november https://www.rhs.org.uk/plantselector/plant?plantid=5567

I am slightly concerned they are all clematis though. So maybe this jasmine for february? Just to break it uo a bit http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/ja...productfeed&gclid=CL--o6aDlsoCFRThGwodz-8L9A/

Do you reckon they would all be suitable? Then i just have to find plants for the rest of the months of the year

I've been looking at winter flowering Honeysuckle but they seem to be more shrub like than climbers.
