Climber

I should know this climber but I can't remember it, it's probably too rampant for my garden.

 

It looks like a Clematis, possibly flammula? though the leaves look a bit generous for that!

 

My first thought (indeed, my only thought) was that it looked like clematis family. But not one I've ever come across.

 

Would be good to see pic of whole plant.
Might it be Clematis heracleifolia?
Not a climber or twiner...self supporting.
