    Hello

My next door neighbour has recently placed a good foot of Chicken wire around the top of the fence that divides our gardens (we believe to stop the cats from running across the top), and it looks unsightly and very out of place. He isn't the easiest of people to talk to about things like this, so i want to know if there are any climbers suitable to growing in wall boxes or containers that I can train around and in the chicken wire to cover it over, or any other ideas people may have for covering it up.

Ive only been working on my garden seriously for the last year or so, so I am still very much a novice when it comes to longer term care so something fairly hardy would be great as it would put up my undoubted neglect.

    Hello :)

Anything in a container would usually need a bit more tlc as containers will dry out more easily.

Not sure about drought tolerant climbers, but I have some Clematis in 50cm diameter planters (so their roots can reach a decent size) but I don't think they would cope with being neglected.

PS : Is the fence yours or his? If it's yours then I don't think he's allowed to attach anything to it without your permission.
