    Hi friends
i have just been down Rumwoods Rose nurseries in Langley (near Maidstone) and i purchased two climbing roses 1/Golden showers (deep yellow )and 1/Guinea (deep red).
Both in pots and a good price.I have put them in my( Nurs)bed for now.

Not a nursery I know - is it a little local one? Sometimes those are the best, although there aren't so many of them around now.
Where are they going to go longer term? Are you re-designing your garden?

Just had a look for them - what lovely roses! Not so keen on the name of the yellow one, though [IMG]
I had a bit of trouble finding the other - is it guinee, a very deep red, almost black one, with a great scent? I wouldn't mind at myself, as I've got a lot of fence to cover - that would be different.
    Thanks for that, Roseman! :D

I got the Golden showers because it is one of a few roses that need only 4hours of sunshine a day
and will flourish on a north facing wall,as well as being disease resistant

I decided to order those roses for my mother-in-law who has her birthday at the end of November. I ordered them yesterday afternoon, and they arrived this morning!! Just when I could have done with them taking the 2 weeks they said on the delivery page..... So I've either got to hide them for a month, or give them to her now, so they can be planted!! :D
