This is a double clitoria ternatea. I was sent some seeds last autumn and I have grown this one indoors. It is a climber and has tangled itself in the net curtains, but now it is a mass of buds I can't cut it down.

    Today the first bud opened.

What an intense colour ... fantastic! A very interesting name as well, hrrmmm! It should do well with me ... could a pod or some seeds fall into the envelope with the other goodies, please? :D :D I'll send you a cheque for the postage!

We'll see, but it will be some time before I get seeds. Incidently if you look at a picture of the single flowered variety you'll see where it got its name from.

I'd already read up on them, Rich, and know why they got their name! Boggles the mind, Hornbeam, would that be a Clitorlily speciosa, perhaps?
