    Hi

I have a reasonably big garden, but don't know what half the plants in it are. I would like to find a forum where I can work my way round the garden, identifying the plants and learning how to manage them - maybe by posting photos of them - is this something that would work on this forum? If so, how would I go about attaching a photo to a post?

There is an option to attach photos if you click on the 'go advanced' button, rather than the quick reply. Beyond that I am not sure as I am new here too, I only know as I have my own craft forum.

Hi Sue & welcome to Gardeners Corner.

Thats exactly what GC is about, you've come to the right place:dbgrtmb:

If you have a Photobucket account, copy the img code & then just right click & paste it into your post.

Our antispam software will then put your post on moderation (it don't like low number posts with links in:DOH:) So if you don't see your post straight away, don't worry, it will be flagged up for the mods to approve.

If we miss it give me or one of the other mods a pm, we're only human:)

      Hello Sue and welcome.

You can create your own photo album on this forum, and upload photos to it. You do this via the User CP link on the top menu. Once I found the option, I found it quite intuitive to use, but if you have problems, let us know.

Once you've uploaded some pics, when you select one of your pics in the album, you'll see two ready made links for the pics, one as a URL and one as BB Code. If you simply copy the BB Code line and paste it into your post, your pic will magically be included.

Hi Sue, welcome to Gardeners Corner:D A lot of people use Photobucket to store and transfer photo's of Gardeners Corner. There's a thread on "How to ......" which should answer your questions on how to upload photo's etc. If you need help just ask and we'll take you through it step by step. You're right this is the Forum where all your plants will get identified:D:thumbsup:
