    My first flower of the season and it has dropped off, I hope the rest don't follow suit - I really must stop watering them with gin!

    Hey, but it's a beaut isn't it, diminutive one? Mine has gone non-stop since the Spring of 2006 and we plan to chop it back to nothingness this Autumn as they do get rather straggly with crispy, dry leaves (at least here they do) which are quite unattractive. :eek:

    I intend to chop mine back too as its crawling through the roof! frost will do the outside ones for me.

    I think if you chop yours back and cover it, it will survive the winter and come back next year ... I have no compunctions (spelling?) that mine will come back with a vengeance! :D
