        Good evening @Spruce and @Jenny namaste thank you.yes Jenny I worked there for many years stated off as a boy runner and finished as Head Gardener ,it as 150 acres of gardens and woodland:smile:

                        Good evening all my friends and many thanks for all your lovely comments ,they are as always very much appreciated:smile: It was mixed emotions for yours truly but some wonderful and warm memories:smile:

                        ps. The runner was another word for a modern day gofer,From 5am start to when the head gardener said you could go and it was always thank you Sir (walk home)(5 miles as the owl flies) sometimes 11 pm;)

                              Good evening @philomel @Jenny namaste yes it was pretty tough going for 14 months but then I got promotion and was made 12th gardener,1 year cutting all the edges around all the lawns;)
