Cold frames

    Last year I had a little wooden cold frame with Perspex lid, which due to space in the summer I had to get rid of. But it worked.

    I'm thinking about something more temporary this winter / spring. And wondered if a small fold up plastic green house next to a house wall covered in horticultural fleece will be enough to keep the frost out?

    Should be fine as long as it the proper thick fleece not that rubbish tearable stuff thats sold everywhere. Aldi stuff is good but brown in colour instead of white ?.
