    Hi All

The cold nights seem to be going on forever, I checked out the BBC weather on the internet and thank goodness an end to the cold nights then watched the BBC weather on TV 0 degrees for tonight again. What a blow I have so much I want to plant out and this is starting to get the better of me.

I feel better for that rant over!!!

    Dave

Me too David. But have you noticed that not only does BBC TV not agree with the BBC website ever, but the 5 day forecast doesn't tally for the day with the 24 hour forecast. But they are all provided by the met office.

True and the Met office site doesn't always tally with the BBC site either!

Can you imagine what it was like when I was fishing for a living and trying to make sense of all this. Got it wrong a few times that the crew will never let me forget.

I use Metcheck. They seem quite accurate. There doesn't seem a let up of the cold nights for the next fortnight. Can't move in the Diniong-room at the moment. It's too full of plants :(

You have just ruined my life with that statement! I had all sorts planned for this weekend again.

Do we think it will be ok to put my tomatoes in the greenhouse and leave them out all night. I have been bringing them indoors at a greenhouse temperature of 10 degrees or lower.

I've just checked the weather forecast(s) and can't see too much in the way of frost over the next 14 days. I'm hoping they're finished and am carrying on regardless in the hope that if the plant has survived so far it's not likely to die of frost now.

Its a bit overcast here but the sun is trying to get through looks like the cloud is breaking up.

Have you lot got your Tomatoes out in the greenhouse yet. I am scared to leave mine out all night. I don't know what the matter is I am treating them like my babies!!!

I was a rough tough fisherman at one time!!

Yes Yes Yes the sun has just broken through the clouds. Nope gone in again.

We've got the sun here but cold I certainly aren't putting my toms in the g.house yet. I have no heat on in there and even the dormant plants are not quite stirring. Of course Dave you are a bit warmer where you are but my min-max thermometer tells me it is still going down in the g.house to about 4 or 5C at night and if we have another cold snap it will be 1 or 2. So another couple of weeks in the house yet.
