    Hi everyone,
i recently rescued a potted coleus from a friend who had it on her kitchen window dying. Ive managed to resurrect it from deaths door but should i repot it and should it be outside? Have looked online but prefer advice from experts IMG_20220616_135429.jpg

You could repot it but if it has recently been repoted I'd leave it alone.
They do like being outside in the summer time but grow just as well indoors. It needs a very light spot if you're going to keep it inside.

Thanks for reply, she had grown it from seed and is still in original pot, ive got it on my kitchen window sill which gets alot of sun, but i pull down blind when sun is fullest as it gets really hot.

        Hi,

The pot looks big enough for a while, the test is if it dries out the compost every day or when you can see a bundle of fine white roots coming out of the bottom of the pot.

Dont mistake a bit of wilting as dryness in this very hot weather , if it does and the compost is moist, just place it out of the sun.

We have them as houseplants and outdooors.
