I am hoping that some of you have some sure fire tips on collecting and then sowing your own sweetpea seeds.

I have deliberately allowed some to produce pods for this reason and whilst I have had some success in the past I know some of you are so clever at this gardening lark that you can increase my success rate.

Wait until the seed pod is opening, collect seed and keep dry until ready to plant. Erm, that's about it!

I get about 6/7 out of 10 doing just that-yet the ones I buy are always pretty much 9/10 out of 10 success. Do they freeze them or heat them or some such trickery??

That's a bit embarrassing then, I get about 9/10 success... Don't know about their nefarious ways though!
