I have come across this type of compost on the net. Does anyone have any experience of using this. There is a sales page for an ebook and as you would expect with a sales page it claims it is the next best thing since sliced bread. I have a formula for making it and am thinking of making some in one of my therapy sessions, just wondering if it as good as the sales page makes out.
I suggest that you Google "Colloidal", it may make you think again. It is probably someone wanting to sell something and trying to find a new name for it.
I know the sales page is trying to sell me the ebook but I have found the method for producing it and just wanted to know if anyone had tried it and if so what benefits if any there are.
It sounds like snake oil to me. Heres a snippet from one article I googled: "Making colloidal humus from raw organic material consists of a series of fermentations. The fermentation processes burn through the plant crumbs like living wild fire. The finer the crumbs, the faster they will be consumed by the fermentation. The quicker a compost is made the more power it has because there is less time for the escape of beneficial gases and the leaching of essential elements" The bit I highlighted is just nonsense and I'm afraid most of the articles I found contained similiar babble. Lorne; they are trying to sell you something you don't need - save your time and money and compost in the traditional manner. :thumb:
