Not a craft or hobbie, but first time. Found this old chair side of the road a year ago had little rust and flaking paint, but in solid shape, dragged it out this weekend. Wanted whimsical colorful. The seat webbing in great shape, kept paint off of it so not to hurt the material (original color) Ordered up some cushions that are white with big black dots. It came out great.

And now the pillows were placed.

And one of the cats "Twitches" found a nap place.

All in all, I had fun doing it.

Like that redstar. I would have gone for something different with the cushions however. the beauty of the chair seems lost. But a job well done!

We too find all sorts of things by the roadside here ..... one man's rubbish is another man's treasure. :)

I was aiming for whimsical. The back without a pillow is really uncomfortable, so no mater what I chose it would have covered it up.

Not something I would've set out to do myself - but seeing how it turned out - I love it! Think it adds a wonderful touch of whimsy - well done!
